“I see art everywhere but not everything is art.”
Dejana’s mission as a photographer is to capture the same artistic beauty found in the world around us, similar to what she creates with her sculptures and drawings. She focuses on photographing details of urban or natural objects or scenes that could easily be mistaken for details in her sculptures or drawings. Through her work, she demonstrates and documents that even in abstract art, our inspiration as artists stems from our unconscious perception of these highly aesthetic forms and contents that are often overlooked when we focus on an object as a whole.
