Dejana Vuckovic Simovic is a visual artist who specializes in ceramic sculptures, drawings, and photography. She completed her studies at the Academy of Applied Art in Belgrade in 1986 and immediately sold the entire collection of sculptures from her graduating exhibition to a museum in ex-Yugoslavia. Over the years, she has received several awards at collective exhibitions, held her own solo exhibition in Belgrade, and participated in ceramics workshops in Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Finland.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, she exhibited her work in Ireland and the Netherlands. Some of her sculptures have been acquired by private collectors as well as museums, including the Ulster Museum in Belfast. Currently, she works in her studio located in the art community of Treehouse NDSM in Amsterdam.
